I've probably read too many books on Trump as well. I agree that people like Max Boot, etc, need to accept their roles in building a Republican party that now appalls them. The party didn't just turn racist and xenophobic, uncaring and social Darwinistic when Trump got elected. I didn't think Mary Trump's book added much or the latest one about Melania and her best girlfriend who recorded the conversations about children in detention centers. As things come to light, with the Jeff Sessions and Rob Rosenstein's torture of innocence with the child separations, I'm seeing Nielsen more charitably, as someone who probably found herself in a horrible, moral situation. Yes, I want to read her book. Don McGahn can go jump in a lake since he was ready to crawl through slime to put hard right judges on the Supreme Court and lower appeals courts.
