Unlike many in your comments section, I agree with you. I cringe as I watch the Democratic Party (the neoliberal wing) twisting themselves in knots trying to appeal to anti-Trump Republicans. Again, leaving their heritage of support for labor on the cutting room floor. I'm peeved that, as of this writing, AOC is getting 15 minutes to speak at the convention while John Kasich gets a prime spot (a man who closed Ohio women's health clinics that provided reproductive care). If Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren don't push Biden to the left, there is a good possibility that the Dems will lose again. Nice essay.
