Who do I want to support? An honest woman or man to run for president from the Democratic Party. A woman or man not already bought by corporate dollars, infected with “that’s not the real world" pessimism against doing the right things to make a better world, a person who hasn’t used their personal power to hurt vulnerable people. Why should we always be forced to accept scraps from the Democrats? Why do we always have to be told, no, we can’t do that now? Maybe someday we’ll have universal health care, but not now. Sorry. As a progressive, the DNC is going to have to earn my vote this time. No more will I be sucker punched and my hopes dashed because the Democrats have stuck bargains with others who detest me and the people I love. No more will i be bullied into voting for a neo- liberal, corporate selection the party wants. No Dems, not this time. Biden must be replaced by an honest and dedicated person who won’t take progressives for granted and has a real vision for the country. You want my vote? Earn it.
