Worrying About Another Trump Administration — Can Stormy Save Us?
I am so, so sick of Donald Trump. His malevolent presence is everywhere — on YouTube recommendations, above-the-fold on mainstream newspapers, cable news, and in frightening emails from panicked political parties (and yes, I get them from both!). On podcasts worried lawyers dissect every nuance of his ubiquitous court cases, speculate on how much money he’ll have left after he pays damages to those he has defamed (and they are legion!), and what current crony is turning against their own soul to save Trump’s sorry ass.
I’ve read about the man’s various mental diseases, first by knowledgeable people like psychiatrist Bandy X. Lee and his niece Mary Trump, and then relentlessly discussed by gleeful pundits (especially lawyer Ben Meiselas of the Meidas Touch Network) chuckling over Trump’s insecurities, his fluent aphasia, his delight in cruelty, the humiliation of his friends and enemies, and the lifelong multinational conglomerate of lies he builds on daily to confuse and outrage gatekeepers trying to hold him responsible for ANYTHING.
I’m tired. Totally. And now I’ve discovered fresh horror from reading Project 2025, a fascist mission statement the white supremacists circling Mar-a-LaGo have devised for a second Trump presidency. They’ve got it all figured out and they’ve finally streamlined how to shove…
